2 Jet Skis.
In July 2019, Ben Gould and Jeremy Hales — on behalf of Derbyshire Off Road Centre– will be jet-skiing around the outer edges of the UK in order to raise money for both the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (Moelfre Station) and Blind Veterans UK. Going from lifeboat station to lifeboat station, Ben and Jeremy intend to travel over 11,000 miles around the outer edges of England, Scotland, and Wales! The money will be split equally between the two parties, and the Derbyshire Off Road Centre cover the total cost of the expedition, so all money raised will be received by the charities!
Both important charities, Blind Veterans UK and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution provide critical support.
Blind Veterans UK cares for those who have served in the Armed Force or those who have taken part in the National Service and now live with significant sight lost. Allowing ex-service men and women to live filling and independent lives through services such as nursing support, social activities, and rehabilitation, Blind Veterans UK makes a difference to each veteran it supports.
The work of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution is equally as important. Covering over 19,000 miles of coastline with their 350 lifeboats, the RNLI ensures protection of the public via their All-Weather Lifeboats, Inshore Lifeboats, and Inshore Rescue Hovercrafts. In addition, their life-guard training, swift water training and flood rescue service provides vital support to various regions. The Moelfre station, founded in 1875, serves the surrounding area via it’s Kiwi and Enfys vessels.
The Derbyshire Off Road Centre, a merchandiser of off road vehicles, recognises the importance of these charities and hopes that you will join us in supporting them, Ben, and Jeremy as they set off on their expedition!
